“Into the Sea” is about self-exploration in a metaphysical sense because it is not just about the body, it is about exploring the abstract beyond our physical world. The pieces are about exploring the infinite vastness between atoms and stars, with one’s inner and outer world. The imagery also explores a journey into the conscious and subconscious. These works are about the heroic journey of self-exploration, of looking into a mirror as if looking into the universe. O. Sanabria |
